Coconut Garse Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 pint milk
  • 1 ½ tbsp vermicelli
  • 2 tbsp fresh coconut or 1 ½ desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • ½ garse powder
  • ½ packet fresh cream

Instructions

  1. Boil all the ingredients together (except cream) until thick, whilst stirring continuously
  2. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly
  3. Beat in fresh cream
  4. Pour into bowl to set
  5. When semi set, sprinkle chopped almonds and plenty fresh coconut
