Date Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 250g butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 packs marie biscuits
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 500g dates, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt sugar and butter on low heat
  2. Break biscuits into small pieces
  3. Add the dates to melted butter
  4. When soft turn off heat and mix the egg
  5. Add biscuits and mix well
  6. Roll like swiss roll and sprinkle coconut
  7. Refrigerate for 45 minutes and cut into ¼ inch slices
